State Board in the Community: August 2018

This August, State Board members celebrated with students, parents, teachers and school leaders at back to school events around the District!

Laura (Ward 1) participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony at the newly modernized Bancroft Elementary School.

Joe (Ward 6) joined several SBOE members and the education community at Mayor Bowser’s press conference for the release of the 2018 District PARCC scores.

#PARCC scores in DC continue to climb. 2.8% in ELA and 2.5% in Math.

Markus (Ward 8) celebrated the opening of newly-named Lawrence E. Boone Elementary School.
